Calcium Chloride is designed to meet a broad range of needs for a variety of customers. Liquid Calcium chloride is a odorless, colorless, and non-flammable liquid which is environmentally friendly and is NOT regarded as a “hazardous material”. Certain concentrations are available to enhance the performance for various operating conditions.

LIQUID CALCIUM CHLORIDE

DE-ICING- Calcium is widely used for effective winter road maintenance. As a wetting agent, Liquid Calcium Chloride, in conjunction with rock salt and sand, create a more effective and economic way of de-icing roadways. Maximizing results down to -59° F, its use far surpasses any other process in keeping our winter roads dryer and safe.

ANTI-ICING- A pre-wetting application of Liquid Calcium Chloride before the snow or ice arrives to form a barrier to prevent it from bonding to the road surface. The practice of
anti-icing involves the application of a very thin layer of calcium chloride prior to a snow or ice storm. Liquid calcium chloride inhibits the bonding of snow or ice to the pavement, making it easier for road crews to clean roads down to pavement.
 

REFRIGERATION-- Liquid Calcium Chloride brines have an extremely low freezing point (as low as -59°F ) which is used as a economical refrigerant for large quantities in many types of industry.

DUST CONTROL—Liquid Calcium Chloride is the most effective way of controlling dust since it has a great affinity for moisture for a prolonged period of time. When applied to a dirt road or quarry field, it will both stabilize the road as well as bind the small particles of dust together. Liquid Calcium Chloride will continue to attract and absorb moisture from the air as well as resisting evaporation keeping the roadway damp and dust free. Unlike water, which evaporates quickly on hot days, Liquid Calcium Chloride can keep the roadway damp for extended periods of time. This type of application will reduce your operating costs of frequent water treatments.

ROAD BASE STABILIZATION - Road-building contractors use calcium chloride to enhance road base stability for new roads and for asphalt  reclamation of older roads. It allows greater density, surface uniformity and helps maintain optimum moisture content. When applied to a unpaved roadway, Liquid Calcium Chloride combines the aggregate and dirt particles into a solid base improving the compaction of soil and preventing erosion, suppression and dust.

ASPHALT  RECLAMATION- Improves absorption of  bituminous materials. Priming materials are easily absorbed and bonding is improved.

READY-MIX CONCRETE—Liquid Calcium Chloride is the most economical and effective way of accelerating the setting time of concrete for cold weather conditions. Calcium chloride-accelerated cement can be used for flatwork or walls, in cold or warm weather, whenever a faster set is desired.

 

TIRE WEIGHTING—Liquid calcium chloride is used to improve
the traction of tractor and construction vehicles. It increases Drawbar pull, reduces tire wear, and reduces stress on other vehicle components.

Liquid calcium Chloride is placed inside tires of farm tractors and construction vehicles to add weight, which improves ballast and traction.

PETROLEUM Liquid Calcium Chloride increases density and reduces shale swelling in drilling applications.

WASTE WATER TREATMENT   liquid Calcium Chloride breaks up oil and water emulsions and removes fluorides.

COAL / ORE PREPARATION - Lowers freezing point of moisture containing solids to prevent lumping.

DRY CALCIUM CHLORIDE (FLAKE OR PELLETS) - available in 25lb, 50lb, 100lb bags, drums,
pallet and truck load quantities.

   Chemstrong A-Normal setting water reducing admixture for concrete.

   Chemstrong W-Water reducing admixture designed to accelerate the setting time of concrete.

   Chemstrong Super P- A super-plactisizer designed to reduce the water to cement ratio and increase workability without sacrificing strength resulting in a workable or pump able concrete and still maintaining high strengths.

SETCON 6A -Air Entrainment agent for improving resistance to the freezing and thawing action.

DURO-KURE-A curing, hardening, and dust proofing compound for natural colored concrete floors, slabs, and walls assuring strength and wear-resistance.
